The eclipse Help would be one good place to get information.

I've never heard of any problem similar to what you are having, so I
think that "ant" you installed was something pretty special. Not the
ordinary ant support. There is a concept of "stored launcher" and I know
some people have written those so that, for example, when code is
checked out from cvs, the launcher is executed and, depending on the
launcher, may do something to modify your code ... perhaps reformattng
some in this case that it things it should. But, keep in mind, I'm just
guessing. Without knowing what you really have installed, I've no idea
what's going on (well, I probably wouldn't even if I did know, since I
have only used the standard ant that comes with Eclipse SDK).
One approach, I'd advise, is for you to start over, with a clean install
of Eclipse SDK or Java EE IDE, skip the link somebody sent, and then
read the help links about the ant that is there, and see if you can
wrestle it to do what you want.
