Hi,
I've been using the Rational Software Architect and wanted to compare
the UML modeling stuff to the uml2 tools of the eclipse project.
Is it possible to set keywords for a uml class within a class diagram?
It should be displayed as a stereotype-like notation (<<keyword>>) above
the class name.
Greetings
Michael

Hi Michael,
Yes, UML2 Tools supports keywords for Classes.
Class element supports the following keywords (UML 2.1 spec, Annex B: Keywords):
auxiliary, focus, implementationClass, metaclass, realization, specification,
type, utility.
All of them are standard stereotypes. It means, that in order to add a keyword
to a Class, the user has to apply Standard profile to the package, and then
apply a required standard stereotype.
For example, to add 'focus' keywork to a class:
1) Select diagram. In the context menu of the diagram call 'Apply Profile->Standard'
action.
2) Select the class. In the context menu of the class call 'Apply Stereotype'.
In the drop-down list choose 'focus'. <<focus>> keyword label will appear
in the Class figure.
Does it suit your needs?
Best wishes,
Tatiana.

Ah, there it is :) Thanks!
Is it possible to set a custom keyword without using a profile? It's
just for rapid creating UML-diagrams with stereotypes without having to
create a complete UML-profile.
I know, it's dirty, but saves time :)
Greetings
