Dear all,

I'd like to ask the difference b/w the two zip files
wtp-jsf-R-1.5.0-200606281455.zip and wtp-jsf-sdk-R-1.5.0-200606281455.zip.

thanks and regards.

Hello Kelvin,

I think the first one is just the JSF-tooling, and the letters SDK in
the latter stand for Software Development Kit.

So if you feel like getting involved in further development of the
WTP-JSF subproject, or if your would like to create your own extensions,
you have to download the SDK.

If you're only going to develop JSF-based websites, download the first one.

Kind regards,

--Stephan.

That's correct. The main difference in the current build is that the SDK
includes everything in the "R" build plus it has the source code and
additional developer documentation for how to extend our frameworks.

Stephan is correct: if you are strictly a JSF-JSP page developer, you
don't need to use the SDK build, although it won't hurt to do so.
