What normally happens when you click on the mailto: link, does it just
take you straight to your mail client or does it cause a child window to
get opened? I'm trying to figure out why it would behave differently.

By "all platforms", do you mean that it is working fine on Linux as well
as Windows?
I mean, is it just the Mac that's failing, but other non-Windows
platforms are working fine?

Hi Chris,
Sorry for the delay replying. In all cases except the help view on the Mac,
clicking the mailto link opens the default mail client. On my test
machines, this means the Apple mail client, which does open when the help
is running in the help browser (Safari, in this case).
Thanks,
Doug

Hi Lee Ann,
Sorry for the delay replying. Yes, it works as expected on Windows and
Linux. We also support Solaris, but the help always comes up in a browser
there, so there's no direct comparison. Only in the help *view* on the Mac
do the mailto links fail.
Thanks,
Doug
