Using Report Engine using Web Services [message #467948] Mon, 03 August 2009 08:40 Go to next message

Hello,

I want to implement the BIRT engine on my tomcat 5.5 application server.
My goal is to offer clients a set of web services for creating BIRT
reports. Before starting to programm these services, I thought that this
might be allready done before:)
Does someone know a web service implementation for the BIRT engine?

Thank!

Yes, I have something similar already. I did a POC using the Google Web
Toolkit and a POC using the Eclipse Rich Ajax Platform. In both cases,
the BIRT report functionaly was wrapped by web services so that any
application could call them and run and render BIRT reports.
