How to start swt project? How to use maven on swt project? [message #463221] Tue, 01 November 2005 06:35

Someone -- maybe from this newsgroup -- gave some effective advice for
writing SWT programs. It worked but now I cannot remember what I did.

They advised me to add a project that just contains swt. Now I have entry in
my project explorer called org.eclipse.swt. It only contains swt.jar,
javaw.exe.manfist, src.zip, swt-awt-win32-3206.dll, swt-gdip-win32-3206.dll
and swt-win32-3206.dll.

Can someone please remind me how I created this?

Then when creating subsequent swt projects, I just go to project,
properties, java build path, and add this org.eclipse.swt.

Does this sound like the best way to take care of the dependencies?

Is there a way to make swt projects using maven?

Thanks,
Siegfried
