I saw this posting concerning double byte and bidi on XP using the
StyledText widget,
http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/platform-swt-dev/msg032 58.html. I
followed the tips in the bug report to uninstall bidi in order to see
double byte characters but double still did not display in the widget.

Are there any other plans or workarounds I can use to make double byte
display in the StyledText widget? I see this issue with WinXP English
locale, using Eclipse 3.02. Also I uninstalled the bidi through the
control panel, regional settings dialog. Is there another way I should be
uninstalling bidi?
