Does anybody know how can I disable a TabItem? An API method doesn't exist!

This is not supported for TableItems or TabItems (I'm not sure whether to go
by your title or your message text). There is a request for this on
CTabItem though, see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=73012 .
