Hi!

I'm interested if there is a project that maintains a collection of
small utilties related to SWT and JFace licensed under EPL.

For example, I have recently implemented a JFace-like tree viewer that
shows a TreeModel. This class does a lot of what is needed for complete
implementation, but it is limited to functionality that is required for
my task. With a bit of polishing, it might be more reusable and further
extension points will be explicitly identified.

Obviously, the viewer does not deserve a separate project. However, it
might be useful for others (for example for porting or maintaing both
Swing and SWT versions of the application). On other hand, there is
already logically similar functionality in JFace TreeViewer, and that
viewer is not useful for all. So probably it should not go to JFace
project.

I'm sure that SWT/JFace developers already developed a lot of components
that have similar characteristics. And some central repository of such
components would be very useful.

This repository would require one or more maintainers that are able to
contribute some time to it at least for examining value of possible
contribution and reviewing proposed patches. Fixing bugs for such
project might be even left to those who use the components. Such rules
should be defined if project is started.
