Jar creation failed. resource out of sync with the file system [message #451137] Thu, 24 February 2005 08:51 Go to next message

Hello,

I am trying to export my project into a JAR file using the export
facility from Eclipse.
However, when during the generation of the JAR archive I get the
following error:
JAR creation failed. See details for additional information.
Resource is out of sync with the file system: log.txt

I tried removing this text file from the JAR but when launching the JAR
it complains this file doesn't exist (FileNotFoundException).
I have also created an empty log.txt and it fails as well during the JAR
generation.

I am using Redhat 9.0 with Eclipse version 3.0.1

Does anyone have any idea what should I do to get rid of this error?

Thanks in advance.

I have solved my problem. However, now I am getting into the trouble of
defining the classpath and librarypath to be able to execute the jar
generated by Eclipse.

Does anyone know a good tutorial explaining how to achieve this?

thanks
