Hallo,
In my first ever RCP I have a TreeView with different kinds of Objects,
and when there is one Item in the Tree selected, I want to show the
properties of the selected Object in an other view (or editor, or form),
some of these properties may be modified, some not.
Whats the best way to do that?
I tried using forms, writing a form as content of an other form whenever
the Selection changes implementing my own ISelectionListener, but I don't
know how to get the form to redraw, so the contents of the inner form look
always the same. The methods redraw and update don't seem to have any
effect.
When I use an editor, I instantiate a new EditorInput when the selection
changes, and open a new editor. How do I get rid of the old editor? I only
ever want one open editor (or whatever) with properties.
Has anyone some good advise for me?
Thanks in advance Maren
