Hi,

I have a requirement to convert my .ecore files to .XSD files. My ecore
files are handwritten files but not being generated by Annotated java or
Rose Model.So I don't have .genmodel corresponding to .ecore file. Using
only .ecore file there is no option to export it to XSD. Please let me
know how to generate .genmodel file so that I can export it to XSD format.

Thanks in advance
Shubhada

Hi Shubhada,

New->Other
Category: Eclipse Modeling Framework
Select EMF Model
Next->Next
Select Ecore Model as input
Go through the rest of the wizard

That will produce a genmodel from your ecore model.

Regards,
Jan
