Hi,
I am interested in deploying or exporting a subset of the
IConnectionProfiles which exist in a workspace, renaming them in the
process. I see that
ProfileManager.copyProfile(IConnectionProfile,String)
will work well for me to create a set of renamed profiles, but it does
not appear that I can save them to a separate repository using existing
API. There is an internal method,
ConnectionProfileMgmt.saveCPs((IConnectionProfile[],File,ICi pherProvider)
which seems to fit my needs. Is there any plan to make this part of the
public API? Or is there another way to accomplish this which I'm missing?
Thanks,
Don

Don,
What you describe seems appropriate and useful as an API, so I'd encourage
you to file an enhancement request with DTP:Connectivity to make the
method mentioned above public API in DTP 1.6. This will let the
Connectivity team consider the case and apply the necessary changes.
