Any way to get resolving ELists on container relationships? [message #376736] Thu, 30 January 2003 08:13 Go to next message

I'm implementing a Resource where I'd like to lazily load (actually =
dynamically create) a containment tree. However, I can't seem to figure =
out a way to get the resolving ELists to be generated for container =
relationships. Is there a way to do this via genmodel properties? I =
think I'm reading the generation templates correctly, and it appears =
that the resolving property is only handled if not containment. I'd =
rather not have to adjust the templates if I didn't have to.

Thanks in advance.

Randall,

Since containment can't cross document boundaries, we don't support
proxies for containment. Dynamic tree creation sounds more like a case
of populate-on-first-fetch, but that requires hand written code...
