Hi guys,
Until now I've tried several things to get barcodes running in BIRT (PDF
export). Current solution:
Use fonts to render the barcode. Checksums are calculated with an
EventAdapter. This works pretty good, one problem is still left:
It is not possible to scale (without keeping the ratio) / stretch the
barcode. I need the barcode in a different ratio than the font. It should
have a height of 50 pixels and a width of 70 pixels (Code 128). Anybody an
idea how I can achieve this?
I could not find a style / formatting option.
Thanks in advance for your help!
bye, Georg

Hi Georg,
I think you can use Text item to reach the goal. Insert a text item, and
choose "HTML" type, select "Formatting" subtype, and set your barcode style
in it. That will set the barcode format different with the other items.
Thanks,
sissi

Hi Sissi,
Thank you for your reply.
But for me it didn't work. I need to stretch a text. I could not find a
style for that. Any other idea?
I want to format a text, such that it has 100 px height and 40 px width
(the ratio is not proportional to the font metrics). This is needed to
print barcodes (using fonts).
bye, Georg
