I haven't seen any updates in quite some time about the forthcoming
Lancaster release. Anyone care to comment on what the current thinking is
on the release schedule? Is it waiting for the AspectJ 1.2 release? The
Eclipse 3.0 release? Both?
Happy with AJDT 1.1.x so far... just curious...
Thanks,

The AJDT team are working on two parallel tracks right now, some of them
are continuing to work on Lancaster but in the immediate term what we
are trying to do is roll out Lancaster features on the AJDT 1.1 stream
so we can get feedback from you.
Recent AJDT releases have simply incorporated new versions of AspectJ
but the next one (1.1.11) will include an overhauled system for managing
build configurations, the new visualiser and better feedback in terms of
how the crosscutting is affecting your files (better gutter annotations).
Right now I don't think I can say when lancaster will be out, but I can
say when it won't be out - it won't be out in June or July I don't think.
Andy.
