Hi, I am starting to use Eclipse in developing fortran code. I use the version of Eclipse parallel 2022-3 in ubuntu20. But I cannot configure correctly to make the variable auto-complete following the suggestions in the website (windows->preferences->JAVA->.....-> auto-activation). I am using fortran as the language, the only auto-activation item is in c/c++->Editor->Content Assist. So I am confusing what items is the correct one to set auto-complete.

The second question is I cannot make the same variable be highlighted. Even though I follow the methods often discovered in everywhere, windows->preferences->Generals->Editors->Text editors->Annotations->Text occurrence, the first three items are checked. But not works.

Regarding to these two main questions, any suggestions?

The contact information for that project only suggests the mailing list:

https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/tools.ptp.photran/contact

They haven't enabled discussions on the GitHub repos but I suppose you could open an issue:

https://github.com/eclipse-ptp/ptp.photran/issues

Likely you'd be best off to use the latest version:
