Hi,

I am wondering if I could set two shapes, say a box and a diamond together without any edge in between?
Something like in the attachment.

I tried width, height, defaultdist, etc. nothing worked

Hello Fang,

For that purpose, you can use e.g. the nodesep attribute, see the attached screenshot.

You will have to use polygon shape.

Thanks for the advice.
I've tried nodesep.
I need some shapes separated with gap and some without(for example in attachment 1), but nodesep will stick everything together.
I tried using "subgraph" (as seen in attachment 2), it didn't work either.

Do you have any better solutions for this?

Hi Alexander,

Thanks for the help.
Could you elaborate a bit more how to set the parameters for the polygon to make this kind of shape?
I've got no clue.
