I'm using the Dark Default theme in CDT Version 10.4.1.202109150103, Build id 20210915-0103 on Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS. I'm having the white-on-white problem with conditional code as reported on a previous CDT version in message #668179, but the remedy proposed for that version doesn't seem to be available in the current version. As a work-around, I can select the conditioned-out code and get a white-on-black rendition. I'd really rather modify the background color somewhat, but I haven't found the proper variable to effect such a change. Any ideas?

The coloring for Dark Theme was revamped around 2019-09
As far as I can tell, it still relies on the Desk Manager themes.

I've been using Darkest Dark Theme with DevStyle from the Market Place since 2021-03.
Seems rather self-contained and consistent though I haven't looked into changing any of the colors
