Best IDE for Java? [message #1841789] Fri, 28 May 2021 16:59 Go to next message

Hello everyone,,

I'm new to programming in Java and I was wondering what IDE do you guys use? I've heard eclipse is very good but I tried NetBeans and I like it a lot better.

What are you y'all thoughts about it?

I'd say there are four major choices:

1. Eclipse
2. NetBeans
3. IntelliJ
4. Visual Studio Code

They all have their tradeoffs. It is pointless to ask opinions about Java editors in an Eclipse forum. You're going to have to do the legwork and decide for yourself.
