Changing gradient background color during runtime [message #1840855] Mon, 26 April 2021 16:55 Go to next message

I'd like to add ability for user to change background color of a shape. Since gradient is defined using Styles, am I not able to change Style's background and have create a new Style with updated background colors and set to shape?

Hi Alex,

yes, since Styles always have precedence over direct settings on the GA, you have to create a new style and set it for the shape. Alternatively you might of course change the existing style if it is not used elsewhere and not all other shapes shall get the change as well.

HTH,
Michael
