It's clear from that thread that your Java skills are lacking, that you try to run code with compile errors, that you don't use the debugger, and so on.

When Christian suggested you ask someone with Java knowledge, he did not mean to go to the JDT forum. The people here won't know the details of the frameworks you are using.

Learn to set a breakpoint and learn to use the debugger to see what happens when a working area is contained in a forest. Given I see no instanceof Forest test, it appears you have written logic for that case.
