I was coding when the attached error screen appeared where I was coding with a giant error code. I don't know what happened. Does anyone else know what is going on?

Hi

Looks like a bug. Raise a Bugzilla with a text paste of the stack trace so that it is all there and can participate in searches.

Yes, this indeed was the bug 567319 - https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=567319. Got fixed in 4.18 M1 - can you please try with any of the 4.18M1 or later versions of Eclipse from here: https://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/ - either https://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops4/S-4.18M1a-202010120320/ or the I build from there).
