I created a gist of the report after I forced quit.

This is a MacBook Pro 16gb ram 10.15.4 Catalina and a freshly downloaded J2EE Eclipse
Version: 2020-06 (4.16.0)
Build id: 20200615-1200
which is properly connecting to the JRE 1.8

I can create a JSON file but it will not open (Eclipse stops responding), and get the same crash opening a valid JSON file.

This bug does not give good google.

This isn't really where you report a bug; that would be something you do using bugs.eclipse.org. When you do, though,
a Java thread dump would be more useful than one of the entire O.S., as well as a file that reliably causes the
problem.
