Hi,
I wanted to create diagram assistants, especially connector assistants, for a profile.
I followed the instructions here to generate the .assistants file: https://help.eclipse.org/2020-06/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.papyrus.uml.profile.assistants.doc%2Ftarget%2Fgenerated-eclipse-help%2Fprofile-assistants.html
As an alternative approach, I also copied the activityDiagram.assistants and added the elements of my profile to it. (I attached this assistant)
Both ways, I got a connector assistant that creates connectors with my stereotype applied.
What I'm still missing:
When I look at this file from the documentation mentioned above
it is possible to drag the connector into empty space, and create a New Element with a stereotype from the profile applied.
When I try to do this with my assistents, it's only possible to create normal elements without stereotypes. (well, with the generated assistant, Papyrus usually just crashes when I do this)
Does anyone know where to find the example assistant and profile from the documentation? Or any other example for which this works. I would like to have a look and compare it. I would also be very happy if anyone had any other clues on how to do this!
Thank you
