So I'm new to Eclipse and I'm making a C++ project through New C++ Project -> CMake Project.

This loads the default hello world program and when I go to Build -> Build Project I get the error No Toolchain found for Target Local.

I have JDK 8 properly installed with system variables, I have Eclipse 2019-12 and Windows 10 if that's any help.

Open your Eclipse, go to Help -> Help Contents -> C/C++ Development User Guide -> Before you begin, and follow the instructions there.

My problem was i had other projects trying to build for some reason in eclipse even though i highlighted the one project and told it to build
