As you may know, for a PHP file to execute, it must be located in the directory specified by the web server.

I use xampp, and have it set to the directory:

As such, the php file is located in:

When I right click the file in Eclipse, it displays the following:

This is what the PHP looks like when I run it from Eclipse

Changing the url at launch time, was able to solve the problem, after right clicking on project file in eclipse → properties → launch configuration box → edit or delete:
