When opening the Git perspective in Eclipse 2019-06, I receive the Eclipse Unresponsive message. Try to wait, but nothing ever happens. eclipse error log doesn't provide any information. EGit version builtin in 5.4.0.2019061210. Previous version of eclipse does work. Can anyone assist me in this matter?

Can you create a thread dump using jstack to find out why Eclipse doesn't respond.

5.4.0 is not the latest release, you can try to upgrade EGit and JGit to the latest release 5.5.1 available here
