How to convert get text in the jubula tool without coding for swing application [message #1817312]

As we are using jubula functional automation to automate the swing application which contains no coding and contains all methods as test steps. Is there any way to get text from any field or get method

In the ITE: For fields and mostly all components which have a text there are some store value methods. They are storing the value from the text into a variable (used after this with the $ notation)[1] E.g. see the test step ub_ctx_storeValue.

If you are using the API there are some readValue methods which you can use. Theses methods include the value in the Result object(see getReturnValue)
