Dear all,

UCAAT is a conference organized by ETSI dedicated to automated testing.
UCAAT 2019 was held in Bordeaux between the 22nd and 24th of October with the following programme:

As you can see AI and machine learning were the buzzwords of the day; however, three sessions were about using TTCN-3 in different projects,
and of the three, two used Eclipse Titan for implementation.

The one presented first, by a team from Offenburg University of Applied Science, titled
Seamless And Unified TTCN-3 Test Environment For
Spatially Distributed IoT, 5G and Radio Technologies

discusses functional tests for Spatially Distributed Wireless Networks (SDWN) technologies for IoT and Industry 4.0 cases based on TTCN-3 and Eclipse Titan:

The second presentation,
bearing the title Protocol Conformance Testing for 4G/5G soft Ues,

held by Andre Puschmann from Software Radio Systems (https://www.softwareradiosystems.com/)

https://ucaat.etsi.org/images/Docs/2019/02_Wednesday%2023rd%20Oct/05_SESSION%206/PDF/S6_02_UCAAT_2019.pdf

discusses protocol conformance testing based on TTCN-3 and Titan against their software products srsLTE and srsUE,

srsLTE being a high-performance LTE library for software-defined radio applications; supporting both eNodeB and UE, the library is highly modular with minimal inter-module or external dependencies; implemented in C, the library is available under both commercial and open-source licenses.

and srsUE being a software radio LTE UE. It is written in C++ and builds upon the srsLTE library; running on an Intel Core i7-4790,
srsUE achieves up to 150Mbps DL with a 20Mhz bandwidth MIMO configuration; srsUE is also available under both commercial and open-source licenses.

Best regards
Elemer
