EOL/ ETL debugging Tools? [message #1816109] Mon, 21 October 2019 07:23 Go to next message

Hi guys I am new to EOL and ETL. I am wondering if there is any tool or anyway to debug EOL (or ETL) Programm code? It will be so great if you can show me an example how to debug code on EOL. I looked on many pages but didnt find any example how to do it.

Hi Hoang,

I've posted a short screencast demonstrating the use of the Epsilon debugger here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZPHoW-DaiU

Cheers,
Dimitris

Thanks for your reply. I tried it like the video but it doesnt really work like I thought. So I want to start a java programm that load EOL Data. You can see on the image that I uploaded. I tried to debug SetActors.EOL but when I load debug configurations there are no options for choosing SetActors.eol. The file .eol work without failure, but I just want to know how to debug the .eol data when I start a java project that loading EOL data.

Hi,

This is not possible out of the box I'm afraid. You may be able to reuse code from the classes in [1] to somehow start the EOL debugger in a new instance of Eclipse but I wouldn't know how to go about this off the top of my head.

Cheers,
Dimitris
