Hi folks,
I'm stuck. I'm a complete newbie to coding besides some java I picked up in high school over a decade ago. I just started a Udemy course and I'm trying to get everything I need installed.
I am trying to install Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers. I have already installed on my computer Java 8 with update 211, and Jave SE Development Kit 12.0.2 (64-bit). That's it though. I'm really disoriented and would appreciate things explained to me in simple terms.
On the install screen it ask for a Jave 1.8+ VM destination folder. Mine currently says C:\program files\java\jdk-12/0/1)Current). This seems to be automatic. The install folder is currently listed as D:\cpp-2019-064
When I install the green bar gets about 2/3 of the way filled, and then I get a long error log. Here is the section of the beginning of the errors:

It seems you must have ended up with a corrupted version of this bundle and likely that's cached with a valid timestamp that prevents downloading it again. You could try to delete the .p2/org.eclipse.equinox.p2.core/cache/binary folder from your home folder so that p2 is forced to download a different/new version from the internet when you try again to install.
