Hi,
Can i create a container where i can directly drag and drop nodes, rather than open a new tab, sub tasks will be directly visible in main diagram window . i want to provide this container option in my palette whenever user have certain tasks with common functionalities it will first drag a container and then he can drag nodes in that container. (Attaching a template diagram)

Hi,

Yes use a container drop tool --> https://www.eclipse.org/sirius/doc/specifier/diagrams/Diagrams.html#containers
Also adapt your metamodel to have a reference in the container to tasks inside to have its own mapping that you can see when you drag the task inside.
