Hi there,

After receiving help from the forum I was able to create a working copy of a Papyrus editor. However, I've got stuck with creating the specialisationTypes for UML::Actor.

I create a SpecialisationTypeConfiguration (STC1) for UML::Actor, which specialises UML::Actor. I then create a SpecializationTypeConfiguration (STC2) for its shape (Hint: Actor_Shape, that specializes Actor Shap in UML, and STC1).

All seems reasonable, however the element cannot be created on the canvas (whilst other elements can be created).

Any ideas please?

Cheers,
Will

OK I've made some progress.

It seems that for STC2 we need to refer to Class Shape in UMLDI (platform:/plugin/org.eclipse.papyrus.uml.service.types/model/umldi.elementtypesconfigurations#org.eclipse.papyrus.umldi.Class_Shape), instead of Actor Shape (platform:/plugin/org.eclipse.papyrus.uml.service.types/model/umldi.elementtypesconfigurations#org.eclipse.papyrus.umldi.Actor_Shape).

Is this the case? Please clarify...
And also, why...?
