gdb doesn't start with Eclipse Photon under macOS 10.13.5 [message #1790724]

I cannot launch Hello World with gdb 8.1 on my Mac.

I've installed gdb with brew and codesigned it after that. I've double checked this with codesign -dv --verbose=4 /usr/local/bin/gdb.
Within Eclipse path to gdb is correct.

I get no error messages, but breakpoint isn't hit and console shows nothing.

Any help is appreciated
