I am trying to fix the following issue:
I am retrieving a text field from a Wordpress table (utf-8: collation utf8mb4_unicode_ci)
I export the report in pdf on my local machine (Windows 10) all comes out fine. However when I generate the report on the server (via standard birtviewer) the line breaks are not there and the € symbol is outputted as €
When I use Latin-code for € it is ouputting fine on the server.
I know it has something to do with the encoding on the server. My question is were to specify the encoding. In what file and how? Is it in fontsConfig.xml ? And if so what line should I add. Or is it in the webserver configuration?
I have been searching for the answer but could not find it on the current Forum articles so any help would be appreciated.
Kind regards,
