colored keywords [message #1783260] Fri, 09 March 2018 23:02 Go to next message

Hello,

is there a way to add a keyword to the editor and tell him what color it should use for the keyword? I am trying to have the IDE color the words Serial and print.

I am switching from the Arduino IDE to Eclipse. Is there a way to import the syntax highlighting?

I found some links that say it is not possible or at least very complicated to add keywords but the links are some years old.

Can someone help?

regards

Eclipse can contain a great many different editors from different projects for different languages. So which language are you talking about? Most editors are very specific about the language they support, and what is or is not a valid keyword, so I don't expect the answers to your questions to have changed.
