Unfortunately, this isn't the same account that posted that thread. Even then, it's a pretty unusual thing to ask. You can request that the old account's email address receive a new password through https://accounts.eclipse.org/user/password . I don't see a reason to turn down a request from the original account, given the content of that thread.
