Hi,

For some of the generators, (eg. web dashboard), should there be deploy button, where user gives his cloud providers credentials (eg. aws, heroku )to deploy into his account to see the application live. I see some AWS IOT (Coming Soon). I am not sure whether it will have just the generator or deployment as well.

Regards
Vijay

Hi Vijay,

by selecting the cloud provider, the generator generates the integration source code to read telemetry device data from the selected cloud platform. It is up to the developer, where (s)he wants to deploy the app. However, you would still need to configure the cloud provider credentials in the generated bundle. If I understand you correctly, you are proposing to directly create and deploy the generated app in the chosen cloud provider. This is currently not possible, The generated source code is more like a template to get easily started with your development (to not start from scratch) and is anyway very likely to change to any specific requirements.

Cheers,
Alex
