Dear all.

In Xtend, we cannot declare an inner class without the static modifier.

What are the arguments for this decision, which is different than within the Java specifications?

All the best.
Stéphane.

Hi Stéphane,

I've found this on Bugzilla: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=376399#c7

Cheers,
Akos

I would second Jan's argumentation in Bug#376399. So far I don't think that Xtend needs this. We do not aim to rebuild all Java features, but rather hide complexity and leave out things for simplicity.
