Navigate from diagram to tree representation [message #1768598] Thu, 20 July 2017 08:07 Go to next message

Hi,

I tried to create a menu action that allows the user to navigate from an element on a diagram to the corresponding tree navigation.

The properties of the navigation tool allow me to select a Diagram Description. However, the list of options only contains diagrams, no tables or trees.

Is there a fundamental reason for this or is this just something that needs to be added. (Or is an error?)

Greetings,
Wilbert

Dear Wilbert,

To do that you should use a Tree Navigation. In field Mappings you select your diagram mapping and in Tree Description your tree representation where you want navigate.
If the mapping selected does not correspond to the Domain Class of the tree representation you can use the field Browse Expression in tab Advanced.
