Papyrus 3.0.0 - Where is SysML profile? [message #1767131]

Hi,

I have downloaded Papyrus Oxygen release (3.0.0) from https://eclipse.org/papyrus/download.html , but I have not been able to create a new SysML because the wizard does not provide this option.
Then I tried to create an UML model and then to apply the SysML profile, but I have not found the SysML profile between the registered ones.
Finally, I tried to install "SysML 1.1 to SysML 1.4 Migration Tool", but I have had the following error messages:

java.lang.RuntimeException: Operation details
at org.eclipse.papyrus.infra.discovery.ui.internal.common.PrepareInstallProfileJob.resolve(PrepareInstallProfileJob.java:159)
at org.eclipse.papyrus.infra.discovery.ui.internal.common.PrepareInstallProfileJob.run(PrepareInstallProfileJob.java:109)
at org.eclipse.jface.operation.ModalContext$ModalContextThread.run(ModalContext.java:119

What am I wrong? Have I to install any other additional component?

Hi Nicola,

Unfortunately, SysML 1.4 has not been released together with the Papyrus 3.0.0 release.
Please add the following update site and install SysML 1.4 from there.
https://hudson.eclipse.org/papyrus/view/Sysml/job/papyrus-sysml-oxygen/lastStableBuild/artifact/releng/org.eclipse.papyrus.sysml14.p2/target/repository/
Look here for more information on how to add an update site:

This will allow you to work with SysML 1.4 before the official release of it.

Let us know if you keep having problems after this.

Note that similarly, for Papyrus Photon (4.0), the SysML1.4 update site is:
https://hudson.eclipse.org/papyrus/job/papyrus-sysml-photon/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/releng/org.eclipse.papyrus.sysml14.p2/target/repository/.

Hi,

SysML 1.4 on Photon was a little late due to validation of the new EPLv2 license.
It should be good now

I recommend using
- Eclipse market place : https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/papyrus-sysml-14
- Update site http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/papyrus/components/sysml14/

That said, if you get an error with the market place installation
(like one of these https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/papyrus-sysml-14#undefined)

I would be very interested in the steps to reproduce it.
