Hi,
Any documentation about how to develop a driver to be used in kura wires ? For instance access to a specific data protocol over can bus ?

Hi Blanca,
we are working on the specific documentation on how to create a Driver. We are also developing a solution to ease the creation of a basic Driver that can be used to wrap or as a starting point for a specific field protocol.
For now, I would suggest having a look at the OPCUA driver you can find here https://github.com/eclipse/kura/tree/develop/kura/org.eclipse.kura.driver.opcua.provider
Having a specific CAN bus driver would be a great contribution to the project.

We started updating the Kura documentation with a new Wires section.
http://eclipse.github.io/kura/wires/kura-wires-intro.html

We are still working on simplifying the driver creation: we are considering different options but updates will come soon.
