I have a need to run a different version of JRE in Eclipse. Could someone point me to a detailed instruction PDF to get this done.

Your question is kind of vague, but if what you want is to use a different version of Java for one of your projects/programs, then you can use this Help page to guide you. That page is a bit old and talks specifically about using Java 7 as if Java 7 is "new," but the steps it shows are the same regardless of which Java version you want to use for your project.
