How to prevent auto-closing recent files [message #1752530]

[Eclipse Neon PDT]
As per the title.
As I'm debugging a project, new files are opened up when I step into them. However, these same files are automatically closed later (I think it may be due to the fact my tabs fill the tab bar) and I cannot recall what the file was without going through the steps again.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
