Hi guys
Is it possible to build Titan on windows use the MinGW direct without the msys?

I run the Titan on windows, and want to use some previous lib. these lib is not compatible with the msys environment.

I check the install guide for Titan, but looks like the guide base on the msys.

When i try to build Titan without msys, there are many errors.

I want to know does it possible to build with MinGW direct ?

If it is impossible, I will not waste time try to build.

Thanks.

Hi Carson,

first of all, the MinGW build is very limited; the only practical thing you can do with it is to compile and verify syntactical/semantical consistency of the code, but you cannot execute anything meaningful.
To your question: we did not try without msys, but it's unlikely to work.

Titan is at it's best on Linux or Unix; Windows can be used with compromises only.

Best regards
Elemer
