DIAB assembler gives "mmu / mpu unavailable" error on one of the .s files. I'm also providing additional compiler options, "-Xisa-vle" and "-Xe200-mpu". Is there anything else that i should be doing ? My target option is "-tPPCE200Z7VEF:simple". Thanks!

Hi, Maybe someone else here will know the answer, but as this is a forum for using the Eclipse C/C++ IDE you may find better results on a forum handling DIAB assember.

Okay,...the thing is, the entire project can be built using a different makefile (MTSA_MAK) process with these option. So, i wanted to use the IDE for a better way of working with the project. Is there a way in the IDE that i could use the existing makefile process to build the project and debug, rather than creating a new project build settings?

You could write your own makefiles and change the project to not generate makefiles (in Project Build Settings)
