Here is my problem:

1. Under "Git Repositories" tab I select my currently checkout branch.
2. Right Click -> Show In -> History

This brings up the history tree.

3. Select a commit

Now, I see a split pane below the history tree with the commit information and commit message. On the right side of the split pane I see the files that have been changed in the commit.

4. Select any file in this pane.

Now, I see the diff right in the pane below the commit message. This is super convenient. Hovever, it shows all white space changes as well.

I have "Ignore whitespace changes" in Git preferences checked, but it makes no difference. Is there a way to toggle whitespace comparisons in this view?
