Hi,
I have a problem which I already posted at http://eclip.se/499603 but maybe someone here is able to help.
When I create a new Java project and use a network share as location, an error with following message occurs:
"Problems encountered while setting project description.
Could not write file: H:\workspaces\eclipse45\test2\sdf\.project."
I can see that the ".project" file gets created. Manually, I am also able to modify it. Looking at the Windows permissions seems also fine, as I am allowed to write on that file, but nobody else.
When I create the project on a local drive, everything works fine. But since I am in a school environment, it is necessary that a project gets created on each student's home directory on the network share.
I am using Mars.2 but trying with Neon gave the same result.

Does anyone have an idea what might cause this problem? Can I provide more information?
