Hi All

Are there steps we can use to follow/migrate from v2.2.1 to 3.3.2 while preserving all the users and jobs configured in v2.2.1 into v3.3.2 ?

This install instructions on the Hudson page isn't adequate.

It's probably wise to wait until Winston gets back from vacation for a full answer. A few points:

- Back up your entire Hudson home before attempting to upgrade, and work from a copy.

- Run in Java 7.

- You'll need to upgrade all the plugins you're using to the latest versions, which you can see at http://hudson-ci.org/PluginCentral/site/3.3.2/

If you're using a plugin that isn't in the current list, it probably won't work in Hudson 3.

- Be sure to install all recommended plugins.

By all means, ask questions.

Bob's recommendation sounds good. One additional step would be to disable the security if you are using security provided through plugin and re-enable it after starting Hudson using 3.3.2
